Operator: Support London (a community-based project operating in London, Ontario, Canada)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Support London website or services, including gift cards, loyalty points, or merchant tools, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

2. Overview of Services

Support London provides a free-to-use digital platform that enables:

1. Local businesses to sell and redeem gift cards
2. Tracking of customer spending and loyalty
3. Community members to participate in a local currency system

The platform is currently available only in London, Ontario.

3. Gift Cards

1. All gift card sales are between the customer and the issuing business.
2. Support London does not issue, guarantee, or refund gift cards.
3. Gift cards are non-transferable and non-reloadable unless specified by the issuing business.
4. Businesses are responsible for honoring their own gift cards, even in cases of business relocation or ownership change.

4. Loyalty System

1. Loyalty points are issued by individual businesses at their discretion.
2. Support London only tracks and facilitates point transactions; we do not assign monetary value to loyalty points.
3. Each business sets its own terms for earning and redeeming points.

5. User Accounts

1. Users may participate using a phone number, email, wallet pass, or other supported method.
2. Businesses may create an account to issue gift cards and track loyalty.
3. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and any activity under it.

6. Fees

1. There are currently no fees to use Support London for either businesses or customers.
2. Support London reserves the right to introduce fees in the future, with 30 days’ written notice via website or email.

7. Availability and Service Changes

1. We aim to provide uninterrupted access, but we do not guarantee uptime or availability.
2. We may modify or discontinue services at any time without notice.

8. Termination

1. You may stop using the platform at any time.
2. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or abuse the system.

9. Privacy

Please refer to our Privacy Policy to learn how we collect, use, and protect your data.

10. Limitation of Liability

Support London is not liable for any loss, damage, or liability resulting from:

1. Unredeemed or expired gift cards
2. Business closures or refusal to honor balances
3. Misuse of loyalty points
4. System downtime or data loss

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Support London, its volunteers, and partners from any claims, losses, or damages related to your use of the platform.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.
